Legacy.com is a web portal for newspapers from around the world to syndicate their obituaries online through the Legacy.com framework. Family members and friends can then contribute to an online guestbook and view the mourning thoughts of their friends and family.

Litwicki Media played an integral part in the growth of Legacy.com by supporting their affiliate websites for cross-browser compatability.

There was an added layer of difficulty in that the average visitor of the Legacy.com network is typically an older user based on advanced website usage statistics. This means the added support of unsupported and obsolete browsers was a necessity whereas the vast majority of projects do not have to stress the support of browsers as far back as Internet Explorer 5.

Our expertise in CSS, javascript, and HTML/XHTML allowed us to quickly and efficiently mange the portal websites of the worlds largest newspapers and their integration into Legacy's framework.

The end result was a seamless integration of newspapers into Legacy.com that allows users to go between the two websites seamlessly and view the thoughtful respects of friends and family members for the deceased.
