Mynd On Fyre

Litwicki Media developed Fyre Never Dyz, and the online store for Mynd on Fyre Productions. Fyre Never Dyz serves as the primary attraction for myndonfyre.com as a means for high-school and college bands to compete in an online battle-of-the-bands. The online store has yet to be launched, but features an integrated paypal payment gateway and a very straight forward control panel for the administrators to manage products and various attributes of each product.

We needed to build a stand-alone application that would support any number of active simultaneous "battles." Additionally, battles needed to be distinguished as "solo artists" or "full bands" at which point we had to redesign core elements of the existing database to fully integrate Fyre Never Dyz.

The application needed to support every browser type as bands from around the world use myndonfyre.com. We built an XHTML layout for an individual battle, and assisted another team in building the band profile pages in XHTML as well. In doing so Fyre Never Dyz is a cross-browser compliant design that seamlessly integrated into the existing theme of Mynd On Fyre.

Fyre Never Dyz required the ability for users to vote on bands in each of the four groups of battles, setup much like the Final Four in NCAA Basketball. While users can vote for one band in each of the four individual battle groups, they cannot vote more than once in each group, but can vote for the same band in different rounds.
