Nestle USA

Nestle USA had an immediate need to build an intranet website to process, manage, and report upon millions of daily transactions performed at their warehouses throughout the United States. Doing so required a completely different approach from the standard web application as Planning and Performance Enterprise (PPE) would generate a minimum of 75,000 transactions per day; well above the average!

Litwicki Media developed a unique, efficient database that integrated beautifully with modular .NET 2.0 code to allow the warehouse managers real-time access to the efficiency and production of their individual employees, as well as their statistical comparison to other locations.

PPE required a role-based authentication method based upon windows authentication for maximum security, requiring users be logged in to the Nestle USA network to gain access. Once accessed, users are able to generate reports, view real-time processing statuses, and queue reprocessing of old data for increased data integrity.

Payroll managers are additionally allowed the capability to manage the time logged of each employee down to the second and manually modify their daily warehouse transactions down to the second with a real-time web application.

PPE is a true enterprise level intranet web application developed for Nestle USA.
